2006-10-19 [~noctis lingua~]: oh it was hilarious...he read it to himself first, and then he waited until the teacher left the classroom and read it out loud for the benefit of me and my best friend. His readings of that book are the highlight of our days at school ^-^
2006-10-19 [Firesong k'Treva]: a friend of mine used to bring her laptop to school, and we'd all watch amv's during lunch. ^^ so fun.
2006-10-19 [~noctis lingua~]: The good laptops at the school are in the TAG classroom and that's where I am from 3:00 to 3:30 everyday. That's where storytime is...but Mrs. Nett (that's the teacher) has good Dell laptops that aren't connected to the same server as the rest of the school computers so everything isn't restricted like on the stupid Apples...>.>

2006-10-19 [~noctis lingua~]: We get cell phones confiscated if they ring and CD players get the same treatment if they hear them in your lockers. The way around the CD players is to un-hook the headphones from them and then they can't hear it even if it gets turned on accidentally. And the cell phone thing...I don't have one so I don't have to worry.

2006-10-19 [~noctis lingua~]: Yeah. We also can't wear anything that doesn't have sleeves and lengths of shorts and skirts are limited and a whole bunch of other stuff. I live in a very small town. So small, the only foreign language class we have is Spanish o.o
2006-10-19 [Firesong k'Treva]: the only reason my school allows personal lap-tops is 'cause it's connected to a tech high (i.e some students do all their work on computers, so..).

2006-10-19 [~noctis lingua~]: I so wish we could do all our work on computers. I would much rather take notes typing than writing. Our World History teacher changes the slides so fast that I can't write the notes fast enough. But I can type much faster than I can write.

2006-10-19 [~noctis lingua~]: Ah I see. I found out that when I type with one hand, I type faster with my left hand than with my right hand. Which is stupid because I'm right-handed..
